30‑Day Return Policy

At Elegant Interiors & Co., we understand that selecting pieces for your home is both a personal and meaningful investment. Our goal is to ensure a smooth, confident shopping experience from start to finish. If an item you receive does not meet your expectations, our team is here to help you find an alternative or assist you with a return when eligible.

Initiating a Return

Most items may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund or store credit (see non‑returnable categories below). To qualify, items must be:

  • In original condition
  • In original packaging
  • Uninstalled, unmodified, and unused
  • Complete with all parts, accessories, and manuals

To begin a return, please contact our Customer Care team with your order number. A representative will review your order and guide you through the next steps.

Restocking Fees

All eligible returns are subject to a restocking fee

Items marked as special order may incur additional fees.

Items That Cannot Be Returned

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Personalized, custom, or made‑to‑order items (including special‑order upholstery and replacement cushions)
  • Mattresses
  • Clearance or closeout items
  • Open‑box items
  • Gift cards
  • Samples
  • Electrical accessories
  • Items that have been assembled or installed
  • Items without original packaging
  • Items postmarked 30+ days after delivery
  • Items shipped outside the continental United States

Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are deducted from your refund. These costs vary by location.
Additionally, any original outbound or upgraded shipping fees are non‑refundable and will be deducted from the refund.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • White glove delivery
  • Room‑of‑choice delivery
  • Expedited or express shipping
  • Assembly services
  • Address change fees

Damaged or Defective Items

We understand how disappointing it can be to receive an item that is damaged or defective. If this occurs, we will make every reasonable effort to resolve the issue.

To qualify for repair, replacement, or refund:

  • You must contact us within 10 days of delivery
  • Photos, delivery documents, or additional information may be required
  • In some cases, the original item must be returned
  • Required documentation or returns must be completed within 30 days of delivery

If the necessary information or return is not received within this timeframe, we reserve the right to deny the claim.

We may first attempt repair when appropriate; if repair is not possible, we will proceed with replacement or refund.

Refund Options

Refunds may be issued as:

  • Store credit, or
  • Original form of payment

Restocking fees and shipping costs apply to both refund types.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be eligible for cancellation before they enter processing, production, or shipment.
Eligibility varies by brand and manufacturer.

Refunds for approved cancellations will be issued once we confirm that the order:

  1. Has not been processed
  2. Is not in production
  3. Has not shipped

Custom or built‑to‑order items cannot be cancelled once production has begun. If a cancellation cannot be completed, the item’s return policy will apply.
